The free service has been a key factor in attracting ocean freighter and passenger vessel traffic to the Seaway.<\/p>\n<p>Vessel owners\/operators must submit three specific ship drawings to either:<\/p>\n<p>Marine Services<br \/>\nThe St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation<br \/>\n202 Pitt Street<br \/>\nCornwall, Ontario<br \/>\nCanada K6J 3P7<br \/>\nTel: 450-672-4111 ext. 2306 or 905-641-1932 ext. 5300<\/p>\n<p>or<\/p>\n<p>Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation<br \/>\n180 Andrews Street<br \/>\nMassena, New York<br \/>\nUSA 13662<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Alternatively electronic plans \/drawing to scale can also be sent to slsmcmarineservices@seaway.ca<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The drawings should include these:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>General Arrangement<\/li>\n<li>Lines Plan<\/li>\n<li>Mooring and Anchoring Arrangements<\/li>\n<li>Cross Section in Way of the Mast and Superstructure<\/li>\n<li>Fender arrangement<\/li>\n<li>Normal operating ballast draughts<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The drawing package should be marked &#8220;Ship Drawings &#8211; No Commercial Value&#8221; for Customs purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Next, the marine officer closely examines the drawings and prepares recommendations for appropriate fittings that will facilitate your vessel&#8217;s Seaway transit.
