The St. Lawrence Seaway Schedule of Charges on Goods or Cargo Landed, Shipped, Transhipped or Stored, also known as the St. Lawrence Seaway Wharfage and Storage Charges, was modified featuring a wharfage rate increase of 2.0% for the 2022 navigation season.

Top Wharfage
1. Goods loaded, unloaded or transhipped at a canal |
a) Bulk cargo;
for domestic general cargo, the general cargo weight or measure rule applies but with the bulk rate. |

b) General cargo; when calculated on a measurement basis, fees shall never exceed two and a half (2.5) times what they would have been on a weight basis. |

2. Goods stored at a Canal on land other than land leased by the Manager to any person |

Side Wharfage
3. A ship berthed in a canal, involved in commercial activities (cargo loading / unloading or lying in wait) |
