David Mothersill Appointed to Seaway Board

Cornwall, February 22, 2006 — The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation (SLSMC) announced today that David Mothersill has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Mr. Mothersill, a retired 37 year veteran of Dofasco, will represent the interests of steel and iron ore members.

Mr. Mothersill’s distinguished career at Dofasco spanned a broad array of disciplines, including accounting, purchasing, logistics, and project management. An engineer by trade, he acquired an MBA in 1974, and progressively moved up within the firm to oversee a wide range of projects, including mining and the transportation of coal and iron ore.

Currently serving on the Hamilton Port Authority’s Board, Mr. Mothersill has over 10 years of experience concerning marine transportation and logistics. His credentials include serving as a director on the Coast Guard’s national Marine Advisor Board, the Chamber of Maritime Commerce, the Iron Ore Company of Canada, the Quebec Cartier Mining Company, the Arnaud Railway Company, and the Wabush Lake Railway Company.
