Update – Draught Information System

On March 16, 2011, the St. Lawrence Seaway Corporations issued a Customer Advisory regarding their plans to develop a Draught Information System to increase the safety of navigation by providing the mariner with better information about under-keel clearance. An Implementation Specification for the Draught Information System was developed during the 2011 winter and, following a public comment period, it was published that same date.
As a result of the need to make changes to the Implementation Specification, we find it necessary to publish the proposed revisions for public comment. We anticipate this will occur no later than the week of July 18, 2011 and the proposed revisions will be made available on the Seaway website.
